Empowering Women 2025: Johnston, Sztykiel, Hunt, Fraser, Gold & Barron Troy
Upon transition to new management three years ago, a female assumed the presidency as managing partner at Johnston, Sztykiel, Hunt, Fraser, Gold & Barron.
The firm’s commitment to gender equity is noticeable. Five of the seven attorneys at the insurance defense firm are women, with two in management spots. Moreover, women fill all support staff roles, from paralegals to the office manager.
“We recognize that a diverse group of attorneys offers a broad range of perspectives and ideas, enabling us to best meet client needs in a fast-paced and competitive environment,” states the firm. “Supporting this concept at every level, our leadership reflects the very inclusion we seek to promote.”
Work in the community is another area where Johnston, Sztykiel, Hunt, Fraser, Gold & Barron displays its believe in empowering females.
“We have promoted women attorneys within our firm and implemented policies to attract and retain women attorneys at all levels,” notes the firm. “We have encouraged women attorneys to participate and lead continuing education seminars for the community and our clients.”
At present, the firm boasts a workforce that is 86 percent female and whose partnership is two-thirds female.
Still, the firm indicates that will not rest on its laurels and will continue its efforts with a particular focus on diverse female lawyers.
“We look forward to implementing policies and programs to support women attorneys across the firm and retain women attorneys at all levels, enhance the firm’s leadership standing in the legal community, and deepen client relations,” the firm notes.
